Defense Lawyers
An organization of lawyers engaged in the defense of civil litigants — providing a forum for education, professional standards, and community across San Diego's defense bar.
SDDL is an organization of lawyers engaged in the defense of civil litigants. Its objectives: to provide a forum for mutual education through the exchange of ideas with counsel in San Diego County; to promote cordial relations among its members; to promote improved public perception of its members through service to the community; and to maintain the standards of professional conduct.
Board of Directors
SDDL is guided by a board drawn from across the San Diego defense bar, large firms and small, meeting monthly to steer the organization and plan the year's programming.

Programming across the year, from CLE and socials to the annual golf tournament, mock trial and installation gala.
Mock Trial
Each year SDDL hosts a national law school mock trial competition, giving future trial lawyers the chance to argue both sides of a civil case in San Diego Superior Court before members of the local bench and bar.
